CHECKLIST TO SUBMIT YOUR CMCP® APPLICATION
Once you’ve met the eligibility requirements, submit your application in a few easy steps and be on your way to earning the CMCP® certification:
- Download and complete the CMCP application form.
- A Transcript Request Form may also be required if requesting transcripts from your university.
- Submit your application and all necessary documentation, including college transcripts and program completion certificates verifying listed professional development and training, to education@boma.org. Pay the Application Fee using the link below. Your application will not be processed without payment.
- Once an application is completed and submitted along with the Application Fee payment, the approval process can take up to 10 business days.
- Within 14 days of your application being approved, pay the appropriate Exam Fee, which is dependent upon the Eligibility Pathway you selected on your application.
- Once the Exam Fee has been processed, candidates have 180 calendar days to schedule and take the exam.

If you were unsuccessful on your first attempt and need to re-take the exam, complete the following steps:
- Download and complete the CMCP re-take form. Send your completed re-take form to education@boma.org.
- Submit the re-testing fee using the link below.
